The Mattersey is made from 44mm x 94mm planed timber, dowelled mortice and tenon joints with 16mm tongue and groove boarding
WHEN SELECTING THE HANG IT IS WHICH SIDE THE HINGES WILL BE FITTED WHEN LOOKING FROM THE BACK
These gates come untreated and will need a coat of exterior oil/solvent based wood stain or undercoat and paint either just before or soon after fitting
 
Made from engineered redwood (more stable than joinery redwood) more info on this here
