The Firbeck is made from 44mm x 94mm & planed timber, dowelled mortice and tenon joints with 15mm tongue and groove boarding
These gates come untreated and will need a coat of exterior oil/solvent based wood stain or oil/solvent based primer and paint either just before or soon after fitting, free care sheet provided
DO NOT USE WATER BASED PAINT I.E "SELF UNDERCOATING" PAINTS WITHOUT AN OIL BASED PRIMER
 
Made from engineered redwood (more stable than joinery redwood) more info on this here
